Back from the Northwoods

So, fist off, actual quote off a radio station up by my parents place... "[The Northwoods is] where 'bling bling' is the sound that your car makes when you leave the lights on."

But it was a good weekend. Saw cousin Nathan, who is back for two weeks from Germany--and will not be back till Christmas, and his sister Amanda, visting from Cali. Saw the sister, gave her the presents from India. Lots of family, lots of water skiing. I can't get up on a wake board yet, must keep trying and not drinking the lake water. Waaaay too much drinking on Saturday. Must have been the wap (sp?). I'm getting a bit to old to keep up with 21-25 year olds.

Tonight, off to Mauston to fix uncle Jim's computer and get a homecooked meal from aunt Cathy.

And Novemeber? Off to Portland to see cousin Jim and Cass and actually meet Gwen. w00t!
